Everywhere I go I see the same static faces
Different place, different night
Never does change
Guess they think they know me
So they comment on my pages
I make a lot friends and forget a lot of names
In my college days I slept on a plastic mattress
Felt a little stiff but it sure saved space
Shared it with a girl who looked just like this famous actress
When she left I lost something I couldn't replace
I want to share a bed, nothing else
And never come clean
Just like the sheets
The days will bleed together if you spend 'em getting wasted
Different place, different night

Double fisting tall boys, saying something tasteless
Got a lot of will but I never found a way
I know this much
I notice the way they touch
And each one is different enough
To find the words that untie these tongues
Not meant for speech
That push and pull through spit and teeth
The tension builds with no release
My tentative attention piqued
